anyways… save the file normally beforehand, if you want to test things out ^^
but as far as Ziva save/load functions go, you don’t have to select anything for either. In fact I would empty selection. They’ll automatically take care of extracting and identifying all the relevant data and connections to the zSolver
but when loading, make sure the meshes are in the scene
also make sure to stay organized, and establish naming conventions for practically everything—to avoid unnecessary errors, and for ease of use down the line if you decide to go more advanced with this stuff
also saving it normally like any other maya scene file—will also save your Ziva progress; so you don’t necessarily have to use the Ziva save/load functions if you’re not making changes, like structural changes to your joint-rig-setup or making transfers and whatnot
