stanp Shihming Yes, all values can vary depending on the asset, too high or too low values can cause instabilities Usually you need to make some iterations too find the right value in between
Madhavshyam Password : VFX24M Hi Everyone! Thanks for the input. I've scaled down my solver and that has softened up my tissue material. The one on the right is the new one. I'm gonna try and do more tests over the weekend. Especially to get deformation around the neck. Thanks @stanp and @Shihming for your input. I'm trying out some different settings for the contact stiffness. I've also increased the internal pressure on this sim. Let me know what you guys think and if you have more suggestions to improve it. π
andy_vs Looking super nice Madhav!! Those wrinkles on the back leg -- beautiful to watch. The subtle ones on the lower spine too. Really great to see this stuff, congrats. Any new anim coming? π
Madhavshyam andy_vs Thanks! My animator's super busy right now. Maybe we'll see something in a couple of week! π
Madhavshyam andy_vs Thanks Andy! We've all been too busy to update the animation. π I had to redo quite a bit of the rigging on the bear. That took most of the time. I have another animation in the works. I'll share it soon. Hard to get everyone going at the same time. π
Madhavshyam Early run cycle test. I promised some new animation. Hopefully we'll have more soon. π Also, the animation is running at slower speed to enjoy the stuff from simulation. That will likely change in the final version.
andy_vs Great to see this stuff coming out! nice! Looks like you lost a bit of jiggle from the walk cycle ? Also that lat looks like it's sort of rigidly sliding back rather than contracting.. π§
Madhavshyam andy_vs Yup. You're right. I'm gonna work on improving the lats. I'm getting quite a bit of high frequency jiggle in the back of the arm and the thighs. Unfortunately, it can only be seen in the back camera view. I'm gonna try and get more in the muscles up front and the fat in general.
Madhavshyam kishchris Thanks Christopher. I'm a huge fan of what you did with the deer. BjΓΈrn and Michelle KlitgΓ₯rd are friends of mine. They were really impressed with what you made.
