Ziva VFX tissues are using finite element physical material models (you can choose between StVK, neohookean or co-rotational) to compute deformations and our cloth solver is a physical model leveraging the Baraff Witkin material type.
So definitely not NCloth based 🙂
Yes most of our users blend the results of the body simulation with the animation puppet (so hands/feet/face/tail)
