Hi Andy, i think it looks quite promising! ( well the animation..that deserves some love too! 😛 )
I was wondering, how did you attach the fat to the fascia?
Is it all a layered sim? (one sim then bake, another and so on?) as in,
1- bone anim move Muscle geometry-- animation to ziva dyn muscles using ziva constraints, results in baked cache for the muscles and bones.
2- cached muscles bones move underneath the fascia geom (as ziva mesh?) this is attached to the previously simmed cache (with ziva constraint in specific parts ?)
3- resulting cached fascia moves the fat layer (another ziva mesh) with more ziva constraints in specific parts?
4- the resulting caches (fascia and fat) are moving the final skin with a wrap deformer?
Any particular reasons why not do another simulation on the final skin? (the skin has its own weight after all)?
I just started playing around with ziva, and im trying to better understand your workflow, your other tutorial(using ncloth) was also very informative, thank you.
cheers
