hi Mostafa
Mostafa How about inner and outer fat Zmaterials most of the time pressure of - 2500 is too much and make the outer surface to miss collisions and to avoid this I make negative pressure on the outer surface too equal - 2500 is that right?
I feel the amount of Pressure depends on the scale of solver and material u set on ur character/creature and also what kind of skin type you want to achieve.
If the creature is very small with respect to solver e.g smaller animals or cubs. I would start with no to very less pressure. And start building up material layers. Usually with thin or delicate skin i would lower the tissue mass and young modules and than work on pressure n tension combination.
But if its large and have leathery skin ( elephant , Hippo etc) where i need to keep the mass value high than i start increasing pressure value.
In Some cases i have set the pressure for outer layer also but not this high say about -5 to -25 (that also depend on what mass and young modules i have set on tissue material).
Mostafa f I want to reveal more the muscles under the skin what should I do? Do I need to increase the negative pressure? Or do I need to decrease the fat mesh model thickness?
Do play around with material layers of varying pressure. Combination of pressure and tension will define the detail of muscle..
As a thumb rule .
More pressure and less surface tension will give u details cut between muscle.
less pressure and more surface tension will soften the detail.
You need to play around with different material layers.
Mostafa also could you please tell me what may cause this kind of deformation? Thnx in advance for your time and support
I would add a zMaterial layer and paint only those area softly blending with rest of the area and lower the pressure and adjust the tension.
