Hi dear Ziva-Community.
I am using Ziva in production right now, but as a complete beginner.
There is a bone, fat and skin layer to the character.
All properly modeled and check by the asset team.
My biggest questions would be concerning ground interactions and collisions.
When the muscles are connected via multiple attachments to the skeleton rig in a anatomically plausible manner, my biggest problem is to make the attachments not pull the muscle-mesh through the collider.
I started using unchecking maintain offset, which seems to have some impact.
Setting the envelope to 0 will break the constraint and make the muscle flap around, so I am not a huge fan of that option (since it doesnt really work on the fat layer).
So base problem is, just activating collisions and animating envelopes, increasing contact stiffness, or disabling maintain offset is all I can see right now.
@Community:
Does anybody have any recommendations?
@Ziva-Team
Will there be any method in the future, to make a paintable map to make selections, which keep the attachment constraint, but change its behavior to a more flexible attachment.
Because in a complex character with lots of constraints, it will be just incredibly time consuming.
Thank you
