I created a script to go through a sim and record the time then math it into a score.
I put a scene up on mega of my gryphon project with a walk animation, so anyone can download it and post their results here!
here's the script:
proc benchMark() {
int $subSteps = 1;
setAttr "zSolver1Shape.substeps" $subSteps;
timer -s;
play -w;
float $time =
timer -e;
float $maxTime =
playbackOptions -q -maxTime;
int $frames = $maxTime * $subSteps;
int $score = ($frames / $time) * 10000;
print ("your score was " + $score + ", frames: " + $frames + ", total time: " + $time);
}
benchMark()
and here's the scene: https://mega.nz/file/HDZD0ArS#_gJMVeDHZEfAHoPRGclWdtmdUq_BIEDP67TKpz8D4ew
all you gotta do is run the script while on frame 1, and if you run it on another scene I recommend removing the zCache, and the script will set substeps to whatever $subSteps is set too.
if you're feeling brave you can also turn on the skin, but it will take a long time to finish.
and leaving the zSolver selected will slightly affect your score, because it will display all the ziva tets and stuff
here's my score: your score was 1435, frames: 50, total time: 348.297
