Does the Ziva team have Collision groups on the road map?
For instance, I currently have a character who has multiple limbs in close proximity to each other and it’s always difficult to keep them from intersecting throughout the animation. I’d love to have the ability to assign limb 1’s bones and muscles to collision group A, limb 2’s bones and muscles to collision group B, and then some of the connecting muscles and bones in the middle to both A & B... then on the Fascia (or Fat), paint relevant verts to A, B, or A&B. That way if one of my limbs during the animation accidentally swipes through another limb, it’s no big deal. The solver won’t calculate the collision. That would save me (and the animators) many headaches.
Also, I’ve read other people on the forums request for the Line of Action/Fiber node to be able to output a “Excised value” of a muscle. I for one would like to second that request. I’d like it to pass that info on to other sim layers to drive deformers.
