Is there anyway we can speed up the simulation process by making it distrebuted over a network??
the logic about the simulation is it need the previous frame to calculate the current one, so in my mind that something which is actually not possible to do for every job who have a part of random. I'm I wrong?
tristan_cordeboeuf Maybe but some softwares use only the logical processors of the computers in the network, like V ray disr Render.. I guess if u just use the hardware force of other devices and let the machine you are working on send orders (Previous Frame) it might be possbile
yep but about vray this is something pre-calulated with no randoming math during the calculation. So one bucket or frame doesn't need the previous part to be calculated.
Hi, Distributing simulations across a network is not supported at this time.
andy_vs So how can i simulate a long shot on a single machine like a 200 frames shot with high substebs would kill the rams is there anyway around to solve this issue?? can i divide the shot to frames and how can i do that ?? @andy_vs as the simulation needs the previous frame to calculate the current one
