Hey there, I'm sculpting the base mesh of my character right now and don't have any details yet. I didn't work on the look of every muscle on this body and I don't think that It's even necessary because the character will have a costume above (well, even considering that this costume is more like a Superman-style costume and it reveals to us the whole silhouette of the body, it, you know, stretches in some places, folds, so we don't see every small muscle, just the big main forms). So, here comes the question: is it good for Ziva If I sculpt the body without too much detailing? (I hope you understand what I mean) and the same with muscles under it - can I just make the main muscle groups without sculpting every single mass? I just don't think that It's necessary in my case.. But I'm still not sure because I don't have any experience with Ziva.
And, besides, I don't understand clearly how facial animation is going to work in the end. The body is simulated with Ziva, it has muscles and so on, but the face just sit on the skull without any muscle. And it has animation, of course. So, don't I lose my facial animation after all these Ziva simulations? I suppose, the process which is called "skin blending" is the answer, no?
