Hey!
I'm Lukas and together with a fellow student we are doing a little animation with a photo-realistic leopard for this terms university project!
We used the leopard skeleton from Florian Croquet ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/612Z6 ) and reshaped the muscles from Zeke the lion. Unfortunately the zTransfer feature was out after we finished the rigging process. That's why we decided to reshape the muscles instead of trying to transfer them (the transferred skeleton was quite differently from our rigged one). Nonetheless we were happy about the 1.6 update including making Zeke the lion free for users of the academic license. It helped us a lot to understand better what we need to do in the muscle simulation (and how to further improve our skeleton rigπ)! Kudos to the Ziva team!π
Below you can find our current WIP!
We have also tried to simulate a run but it didnt go quite well. I have read in other posts about increasing inertial damping on the zTissues which helped a bit (increased it to 0.75) but some of the muscles still won't stay at their position. Do I need to further increase the damping on those muscles or are there any other things I have to look out for when dealing with fast movements? Maybe increasing the strength of some zAttachments?
Cheers,
Lukas
