Hey Andy. Thanks for replying. This is my character:
https://community.zivadynamics.com/d/196-60-day-trial/11
Not a lot of fat. But also not a very muscular character either.
I know my question seems very basic. I am sorry, it just has not made sense to me yet. My trial has also expired. So I am waiting for the 60 day period to pass before I can request a new trial license. So I am unable to test any of what we are discussing.
Maybe this screen shot will explain my question further. In the Ziva lion example. You can see a very distinct relation between the fascia pass and the fat pass. You can clearly see the muscle definition in the fat pass. Now, if you used a smooth copy of the skin as the outer layer of the fat. And if the fat preserves the volume. How the heck does the muscle definition come through with such fidelity? The outer layer of the fat must have some sort of pressure applied to allow it to sink into the valleys between the muscles?
Looking that the Dance performance thread, there is not a whole lot of muscle definition coming through at all. It is all very smooth. Not a lot of detail. I am hoping to achieve something like this:
Would I need to make my fat very thin to allow for this type of definition? I would assume that could get very tricky having such thin volumes.
Again, sorry for the basic questions. I hope to get further with my next trial license. And getting these questions answered before hand will help make the most of my time. Thanks!
