I did test maya field and ziva 1.4 and found out something not right.
it happen when i using maya filed with volume shape and animate moving zsolver node
1 create plane scale 100 and create zbone , use for floor collision.
2 create poly sphere and scale 100 , adjust to be on top of plane, freeze transform and create tissue.
3 set zsolver scale at 100
4 select poly sphere and ziva>>field>>gravity set magnitude =2,000 and direction Y =1
5 if you click play, sphere should be floating up forever
6 now turn on volume shape of gravity = sphere and set scale =60 , tx=0 ,ty=0,tz=0,when you click play it should move up and down, once it outside volume sphere, it will fall down , and raising up again.
now the weird part begin
7 set frame 1 on zsolver set tx=0 and frame 20 set tx =100
you will see that poly sphere move up and down and shift continue move up and down at frame 20 but outside volume gravity field. kind of weird that it still move up and down out side volume sphere
8 now if we move gravity tx = 100, to make sure that sphere will drop in volume field. now sphere no longer moving up or shift position any more.
9 if we move gravity field to tx = -100, we will find out that sphere even move in strange direction.
when we move zsolver node to where ever character is, but it will cause maya field with volume shape no longer function and behave in unwanted way.
is anyway to fix strange behavior?
