Hello, firstly this is more of a reintroduction, since I originally started out as AdventDestiny a couple years back; tried to explore some ideas, but my work experience was too limited to take advantage of what Ziva could offer. So decided to go to a game art school, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, which has greatly improved my understanding of what it takes to work in the field of 3D character modeling and design.
My focus is a high-poly creature/character modeler, specializing mostly in ZBrush, with some experience using Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and 3DCoat. My favorite things to do is to explore modeling monsters or humanoid characters, taking advantage of ZBrush's traditional art influences to experiment with shapes and forms rapidly, before moving on to create more detailed final model... where I then have to try and figure out how to get it working as a game asset, retopology can really suck sometimes!
Current projects include a portfolio development piece where I plan to design 12 gladiator beasts, inspired by the short Sonnie's Edge from Netflix's Love, Death, & Robots. I'm also planning on reviving the project I tried to develop here a couple of years back, an adaptation of the Sirens from Greek mythology, part of an art project I and a few other collaborators are planning to develop over the course of the year.
This is a link to my Artstation portfolio, for anyone interested in seeing my current work; it's a bit sparse, obviously hoping to expand it with superior pieces in the near future. If anyone here's got ideas for fantastical characters or creatures they need help modeling, feel free to contact me, I'm always looking for opportunities to explore new creature designs to add to my portfolio!
