Hi - my name is Ted and I've been in the videogame industry for 25 years. These days I'm in management but I started out creating character and environment assets long ago when my company was much smaller.
To ensure I can talk semi-intelligently with our artists and programmers I spend a lot of time outside of work with character construction, rendering, coding, etc. on personal projects.
For a long time I've been frustrated with what felt like hackneyed approaches to muscle simulation in Maya (other than Andy's great CG Circuit tutorial with cloth which I though was super clever). So when I saw what Ziva could do, I got really excited. I just purchased a license and am having a lot of fun learning.
