Here are the simple intro of each Ziva VFX license types:
- The Ziva VFX indie. It is a node-locked license that runs Maya GUI on only one machine.
- The Ziva VFX batch. It is can only run in Maya batch mode, that is, the command line mode. It is usually used to run on the render farm.
- The Ziva VFX Studio. It is the floating license that can run different machines, as long as they can connect to the license server. Also, it allows at most 4 Ziva VFX instances on one machine.
For your case, the Ziva VFX batch doesn't meet your requirement. Instead, you need a Ziva VFX Studio license, or another Ziva VFX indie that can run on the other machine.
Also note that the "Virtual Machine" option is to host the floating license server on a virtual machine, which doesn't require powerful hardware. The Ziva VFX needs a good machine to run the simulation.
