Demo ZFT Player Not Working, Error Occurs

Hi there,

I've downloaded the demo Ziva Dynamic Face from the official site, and have followed the instructions but I am still unsure of this error occurs:

I've created the plug-ins folder on maya, directed the environment file to the location with the demo license (image above) and have placed the .mod file to the MAYA_MODULE_PATH folder.
I have also set the project when opening the file.

My demo license also ends on March 7th, 2023.

I have no found any solution as to why my face is not moving. :/
The eyeballs seem to move but not the face, (also have tried importing the facial expressions provided and it does not work.)

I have tried on Maya 2020 and 2022 and still am not sure why it's not working out.

If anyone has a solution for me, please help!

Hi Socks,

According to your description, the Maya plugin works fine. It is the license file settings that cause the failure.
Could you confirm if the .lic file locates at the path that zivadyn_LICENSE env var specified?
If the license file path is correct, have you modified that file?
The error msg shows that if fail to validate the license file content.

chengdong Yes I have located the .lic file in the path on the image, and have also tried placing it in a different drive, documents, downloads etc.

But unfortunately it hasn't worked in any folder and have not modified the file at all. 🙁

I found these error msg in the log,

No license for product (-1)

Please check your license file content, see whether Ziva RT player is included in the license file you specified through zivadyn_LICENSE. It could you set a wrong file path, or a wrong license file.

I have checked the license file and it does seem to contain ziva player :/
Is there any other code I need to write in the environment than what I have written in my previous post?
Quite confusing as to why it's not working 🙁
