i don't think there is a word that exists that would describe my level of excitement

but unreal or unity or both? 😮 which should i prepare for? xDDDD

The trainer expects an FBX of your skinned character (just basic skinning - minimal helper joints - just to avoid singularities in the skinning)
Along with synchronized Alembic bakes and skeletal animations.
Doing an initial training session is very straight forward, though depending on your use case, you can drill down pretty far in terms of how you want to optimize the asset for memory consumption and/or runtime performance.
